To comply with US export control policies,Watch Metamorphoses Online NVIDIA is developing a modified version of its AI chip based on the new Blackwell GPU architecture for the Chinese market, with the model potentially named B20, according to an exclusive report from Reuters. In March, the US chip giant unveiled its Blackwell chip series, which is set for mass production later this year. The B200 chip in this series is 30 times faster than its predecessor at tasks such as providing answers from chatbots. NVIDIA will partner with Inspur, a major Chinese distributor, to launch and distribute the new chip B20, with shipments starting in the second quarter of 2025, sources said. Currently, NVIDIA has not yet made a public announcement, and its spokesperson declined to comment. [Reuters]
