The company stated that the chip was not custom-designed by Arm and that Arm’s CSS (Custom Silicon Solutions) services were not used during its development. That same evening, Arm updated its official press release, revising the previous “Custom Silicon” description to confirm that the Xuanjie O1 was independently developed by Xiaomi.
